A bit about me!

I thought I'd write a bit about me, so you get to know a little more about the girl behind the camera!

I am a self-taught photographer and started approximately 7 years ago, wanting to take a good shot of our gundogs in action and needing photos for our holiday cottage website at the time. I didn't know anything about photography but knew when the light was right I was transported.

Since my journey of learning photography started (and it never stops!) it has given me another passion that links into my love of nature, always looking for beauty in the smallest of detail. I now do weddings, family/pet portrait sessions, sports and property photography, plus visiting local craft fairs and spiritual fairs with my cards, notebooks, journals and bordered prints, with 8 shops around the area now stocking my products.

I love to travel, trying to visit the more unusual places away from the beaten track, hoping to inspire others to see the world through my photography.

A few fun things about me you might not know, I’m a total geek and love macro photography of insects especially ! I can ride a motorbike. I have a degree in Marine Ecology and I’m not good at sharing seafood or Haribo, my favourite foods!

I've included a couple of images of me, there's not many, I'm not overly keen on my photo being taken! Ironic, I know!

And finally, I have big plans for my photography (well big for me anyway!), with lots of ideas (and hard work!) hopefully coming to fruition in the next few years, so keep watching!
